Where your donation goes
We are committed to making every dollar count. In our last fiscal year, 90% of donations went directly to programs, food, supplies, transportation, scholarships, and small stipends for the families we serve. The remaining 10% covered essential operations: rent, insurance, a small staff, and the technology that keeps us running.
We accept:
- One-time or recurring general donations, unrestricted support that lets us direct funds where they are most needed.
- Zakat, 100% of which is distributed to eligible recipients according to the eight categories in the Qur'an (9:60).
- Sadaqah and Sadaqah Jariyah, for ongoing programs and capital projects.
- In-kind donations, groceries for the pantry, school supplies for youth programs, professional services.
All donations are tax-deductible. You will receive an emailed receipt, and we publish an annual report every spring covering all funds received and spent.
More ways to support
Money isn't the only way to give, and many of our most meaningful gifts are time, skills, and in-kind contributions.
In-kind donations
Drop off halal staples, school supplies, or cleaning supplies at our community center on Saturdays. We distribute what we receive to families in need, see the pantry page for the current wish list.
Give your time
We are powered by 48 weekly volunteers. Whether you can give one Saturday a month or one evening a week, see openings → and we'll match you with a program.
Sadaqah Jariyah
Long-term capital investments, scholarship funds, a community fridge restocking endowment, building out our refugee support program, leave a lasting mark. Email us to talk through legacy giving.
